Limitations of Traditional Addiction Treatment Centers
When it comes to recovery or getting help in general, there’s no doubt that everyone wants the best of the best. Even if it isn’t the priciest option, shooting for the best in someone’s price range is far from unheard of.
This can apply especially to your choice in addiction treatment. Often the go-to option in helping someone get back to their feet is to reach out directly to an addiction treatment center. This isn’t to say that’s a horrible idea, heck, it’s much preferred to getting no treatment at all, but there are some caveats that knock it down a few pegs from being the “best of the best” plan.
That may have taken you aback, but the sentiment holds some weight. Right off the bat, you should know that traditional inpatient addiction treatment has a 95% failure rate. Clients are often herded like cattle from group to group with little to no focus on the individual, aside from maybe an hour a week of therapy. Less than 42% of people who enter treatment actually complete it. This monotonous cycle going on for 28 days can feel downright counterproductive or mind-numbing, or just unappealing to anyone who can’t make time for that. If you’re an executive who’s steeped in their work or a celebrity who wouldn’t want to be caught in a rehab facility, this is a frightening idea. Heck, you don’t even need to be someone in those positions to be put off by the idea. This isn’t even to mention the hassle of finding one in your area and not having to worry about traveling far to reach a center near you if it specializes or caters to your needs in particular.
However, again, this isn’t meant to dissuade anyone from getting help. Quite the opposite, actually. Just because traditional systems fail you doesn’t mean that there’s no hope in that path. Far from it! There are, of course, alternatives. More specifically, reliable alternatives that are reinforced with prestige and verifiable results. The most prolific example is Cali Estes and her programs Sober on Demand and The Addictions Coach.
The Addictions Coach offers services catered specifically to celebrities and executives but isn’t exclusive to them. Sober on Demand is catered to anyone who wouldn’t necessarily fall under those categories, but, again, isn’t exclusive to that either. It helps to them of them as sibling programs. Both are alternatives to traditional addiction treatment centers, and reliable ones at that. Cali Estes leads the charge in placing the focus of their care on every person with specialized approaches.
Their tactics address many of the major issues that stem from traditional addiction center care. Tired of the group-centric format? The SOD team focuses on one person at a time and offers each and every one of them substantial care. That care includes intensive care, sober coaching, therapy, remote care, and sober companions, it’s all out! That scary 95% failure rate doesn’t apply to Cali and her teams either, as their approach is vastly different from the other treatment centers. Each is based on science and revolutionary techniques, so you don’t have to worry about being “too alternative”, but you can rest assured that there is another way out there, and that is with Cali Estes. They don’t see addiction as the problem, just a solution to the problem!
Another huge plus to Sober on Demand and The Addictions Coach is the broad scope of it all. Cali has expertise in addressing basically any issue related to addiction that a client may face. Food addiction and eating disorders, alcohol use, drugs, technology, sex addiction, there’s no judgment and it’s all covered. In other words, whether you’re looking for drug and alcohol treatment centers or food addiction treatment, they’ve got your back!
You’re also not saddled with mandatory time spent in-facility, and as was mentioned earlier, there’s plenty of flexibility in terms of accommodation. No matter your location, Cali and her team can help. Also, again, Sober on Demand and The Addictions Coach can offer some accommodations if you’re an executive or a celebrity in need of care. Their website adds to this, saying
“Dr. Cali Estes oversees all aspects of the Action Plan protocols and will make sure your experience is comfortable, enlightening, and productive in the time you spend with her and her team. The program can be from 4 to 30 days +, and consists of a mobile lifestyle enrichment program that covers substance use and substance misuse, triggers, coping skills, passion and purpose in life, relationship goals, career goals, and learning how to live a happy and productive life”
In other words, you’re getting that “best of the best” treatment if you choose Cali! If you wanted to know more, there’s plenty of information on the Sober on Demand and The Addiction Coach websites, and it’s possible to reach out on said websites if you have any questions!
She also has other ventures that may address issues some treatment centers haven’t thought of tackling yet, like Failure to Launch. She’s ahead of the game and there’s no harm in at the very least checking it out.
Again, this may be overwhelming, but the takeaway isn’t meant to be that getting help is bad. If a traditional treatment center is more readily available and your only feasible option, it’s not a bad idea. However, it’s always worth knowing the truth about well-established institutions and keeping yourself well-informed. Sometimes traditional treatment just doesn’t click, and that’s in no way the fault of the person undergoing it. These centers are more often than not focused on their own well-being than the clients and it’s best that you put your health first. If the statistics and facts that you read earlier are concerning in any way, It’s highly recommended that you give Cali a call. Do your research and don’t be afraid of an alternative route! Just be sure that they’re safe ones. You couldn’t be safer than with Cali Estes!
